Review #7 – My Weekly Review

This week was like a quiet but very persuasive advisor. It didn’t shout, didn’t bang its fist on the table, didn’t throw a calendar in my face with the question: “And now, genius?” – but it watched. And in that look, I saw one thing: you’ve overdone it. I overdid it with the goals. With the expectations I had for myself. With trying to do everything at once. Full-time job, developing a company, sporty lifestyle, daily blog, daily training, daily 1% improvement. And so every day, every day, every day. As if my life were a video game on “Hardcore” mode, with no save option.

That was the moment when it wasn’t about whether I could handle it, but whether I even know why I’m doing all this. Because if every day starts at 5:30 a.m. and ends after midnight, if I come back from the kitchen steaming with fatigue and demi-glace, if I fall flat on my face and wonder whether I’ll still manage to write the blog and stretch my lower back – then something needs to be reconsidered. No, this is not a moment of surrender.

This is not “I’m giving up.” Quite the opposite.

This is a very conscious decision: it’s time for a revision. To look honestly at my goals and say: “Listen, guys, we need to talk.”

Because you can’t go in five directions at once, can’t catch five magpies by the tail. Even if each one seems exciting. Full mobilization in one direction while still handling daily life.*

I’m starting with two changes.

First: the blog. From now on, each post will be a maximum of two A4 pages. Not because I have less to say. On the contrary – because I have more to do. Writing a daily blog takes me two hours. Two hours I can and want to invest in building the company. And the medium-term goal is as clear as the sun over Rigi: the website must be ready by May 1, 2025. Without that page, I won’t move forward. Without it, my development plans remain just plans. And I don’t want to just plan. I want to build. I have to build.

Second: training. Yes, I do it every day. And I will continue. But I need to tone it down. It’s not about exhausting myself. It’s about building a habit. Not to walk around twisted like a croissant, but to feel good. I know you can overdo even something fundamentally good. Love too. Yes, really – I know cases. That’s why I’m restarting my cycle. Calmly.

Just less, but every day. A small reset. And there will be results. This is not a game for a few days, but a few years. Calm down.

In all of this, there is no room for perfectionism. There is room for wisdom. For adapting to reality. For honesty with yourself. Because sometimes the greatest act of bravery is not to keep pushing forward, but to stop and reflect.

Simple? Of course it’s simple. In simplicity lies strength. Remember that.

Yesterday I came back from work at 00:30 at night. After a whole day of cooking. Today I’m working at nine, which means leaving the house at 8:30. I got up at 5:30, because that’s my time. My morning. And no, I won’t complain. But I also won’t pretend everything runs perfectly.

So from today – blog max 2 pages, daily training but with mindfulness – I’m starting a new cycle – of course with the 1% rule, getting better every day. And the company website is in the foreground – because the goal has to be reached. Otherwise, the whole HMF strategy won’t make much sense.

Head up, head for thinking and action! Today is my day, right? I’m glad that each day can bring new reflections and that life itself gives me advice... "life advice" 😊

This is my new strategy. I’m not the kind of person who gives up. I’m the kind of person who reorganizes everything when needed. And that’s exactly what I’m doing.

“I’m not quitting. I’m resetting.”

Have a good day and I clearly recommend: put a smile on your face today!

*my daily routine: blog, sports, diet, FAITH and spirituality, full-time job, learning two languages, blogging, building a website and online shop from scratch, learning an ERP system, creating and implementing a marketing strategy (SEO, branding, etc.), and sometimes also morning meditation.

Little? I don’t think so. Thank you, Lord, for this

Review day – as always on Sunday. That’s exactly why I introduced it. It works.
