DailyInspire 2025

Greetings and Health Check-in!

Let me twist and turn! What a sleep I had yesterday. After a week of work and an unexpected surprise, my body demanded regeneration. Sleep is the most profound form of it. Just like espresso for Italians – you can pretend you don’t need it, but everyone sees that without it, life loses its taste, energy, and meaning. Sleep is your daily dose of “ciao bella” for your body. 😊

That’s exactly what happened. I simply crashed and I won’t pretend otherwise. Twice – first after lunch (baked spare ribs in mustard sauce with mustard, a tiny bit of corn, and olives that were lingering in the fridge), and then after returning from a bike trip. I heard an internal voice: “Hey, buddy… aren’t you overdoing it? You need to get some proper sleep!” To which I replied, “Oh! We’re friends now? Since when? Alright, I’m going…” And that was the end. Three hours of sleep like a baby. (No, I’m not a sleepyhead – quite the opposite, more of a non-sleeper).

The result of this unnecessarily long introduction is that one of my goals – related to my online store – was only half-achieved. I made progress (thankfully I had the day off), but I certainly didn’t complete my goal: a COMPLETE ERP System! What nonsense. What a foolish goal to set! I overdid it, and I take full responsibility. The color red (well, magenta – that’s what I have, that’s what I use. Silence there!) appeared like a thunderbolt out of the blue. And rightly so. Sometimes, a slap in the face is needed to wake up.

Yesterday’s completed goals:

Let’s get back to basics, which are always worth repeating:

  • GOALS MUST BE REALISTIC!

  • NEVER LIE!

  • IMPROVE!

I’ll summarize it all in one sentence: Realism and improvement with sincerity led me to this very philosophical and scientific conclusion: Don’t overdo it, or you’ll get twisted! Okay. I won’t.

Adjustments and Changes:

1. Blogs will no longer be published at 6:00 AM, but at 7:00 AM. This is based on my observations and the simple reality of how much time we have in a day. You can push through hardcore mode, but for how long? The HMF method doesn’t promote a brutal race for a trophy, but rather a slow, long-distance rally. Sacrifices, habits, learning – of course! But always considering the other components of life that can shake up our perfectly structured philosophy of change.

My example? As a chef, I sometimes work 12-13 hours a day. When I get home, I don’t know whether to go to sleep or brush my teeth and sit down for breakfast. That’s just how it is (obviously, I’ll change this work schedule along with my job, but factors like notice periods and bills exist – you can’t just jump over them, even if you were a kangaroo on steroids). That’s why I can’t write the blog at 4-5 AM (yes, it takes that long to think through, write, translate, implement in two languages, add images, manage SEO, social media, proofreading, etc.). I simply need an extra hour. And that’s it. You should do the same! Fix things! This machine will only run at full speed once it’s properly oiled and set up. It takes time, and the key is not to get discouraged – the biggest temptations will be to quit. Stay strong and keep smiling – FORWARD!

2. Calm down! This means I need to relax and stop swinging at the sun with a pickaxe or throwing rocks at a mammoth. I must remember that goals must be realistic. Unrealistic goals strongly encourage self-deception – and lying to yourself is disgusting. Don’t do that. Mark it in red and learn from it. A single failed goal is not a disaster! We’ll achieve it today. Don’t spit on yourself – instead, refine your habit-building techniques and goal-setting methods. No one is chasing us.

Today is Sunday, which means it’s Review Day – all components of Daily Inspire together, plus meditation.

Wish me luck and spread love today! I’ll give handfuls of it!
