as tasty as a carb-free breakfast, which is just beginning. (For me, it started at 5 AM because that's my habit… Yes – it introduced itself. Yes – I like it. No – I don’t use an alarm clock. No – it’s not difficult for me, unless I’m really exhausted after working late hours in the kitchen – then it’s a problem. Problem? It’s not a problem, but rather an almost impossible struggle. But well – the blog won’t write itself, and the exercises won’t do themselves, even if AI and other cleaning robots made soft scrambled eggs from their circuits and chips.
Late hours in the kitchen? So you’re a cook? How is that? And you still have time for such nonsense like writing a blog and cycling to church in the morning, even though you sometimes work 12-hour shifts? Yes, I do – work is work, and life is life. You just need to skip one TV show about how one lady shoved an umbrella up another lady’s nose or avoid scrolling through hundreds of meaningless TikTok videos – and boom! Voilà! We suddenly have those two hours a day for our game! Here, we can only win, and there, we simply lose life. That’s it.
Oh, and by the way, notice that this is still a digression in parentheses after the greeting – that’s just the kind of digressor-diversionist I am.)
"You will never always be motivated, so you must learn to be disciplined." – Someone unknown – possibly standing outside a pineapple store.
I started this day with certainty, knowing I had an idea for a blog because yesterday (as always) handed it to me on a silver platter. But I made a huge mistake – I didn’t write it down. You must write down everything important – every smallest plan, idea, or thought.
WRITE IT DOWN PHYSICALLY – PEN IN HAND AND GO!
Let’s go with that notebook – let it feel our creativity, ingenuity, spirituality, thoughts, and planning skills! It deserves it, this little, over-sanitized clean freak. Time to get it dirty!
OK. Back to reality. I forgot to write it down, and now… disaster. The blog won’t make sense.
OF COURSE, IT WILL!
Right after opening my calendar, I realized I had mixed up the days (I’m starting to implement this method into my life as a lab rat). Instead of doing FOUNDATION on Wednesday, I went full health mode. What a disgrace!
So today is foundation time (and I won’t hide it – I’m happy because I have the day off, meaning I can dedicate the entire day to Foundation).
I will focus on building finances (in other words – money), which is essential for achieving my long-term goal in the GMF method.
My Long-Term Goal: I earn 10,000 CHF per month starting from 01.02.2026.
Simply put – today, I will not be a cook but an entrepreneur – which, by the way, I have been my entire life. (Yes, since my university days, I have always run some kind of business).
Right now, I am in a phase where I have a full-time job. I don’t like it – so I will do EVERYTHING to change that and once again be the master of my finances and decide which direction I go.
Today, I am sitting down to set up ERP for my online store M…..De......ch (I won’t write the name because I want to show off the finished product).
ERP is a business management system (in a nutshell and very roughly speaking).
I plan to build something bigger than a pancake stand (no offense to pancake stands – oh, how I’d love to eat one right now! And that smell… ahhh).
That’s why I need to approach this professionally from the very beginning and plan everything step by step.
And guess what? This applies to our life as well. Isn’t it basically identical to running your own business?
In DailyInspire, we play a game called life – and it’s in hardcore mode. Every day brings challenges, missions, and levels to complete. But let’s go further – running a business? That’s an economic strategy game where you manage resources, predict competition moves, and make key decisions. A full-time job? That’s nothing more than an RPG – you gain experience points (XP), complete tasks, level up, and unlock new skills (read: bonuses and raises).
And now, the best part:
When you start seeing everything as a game, you regain your sense of freedom.
Because what does a player do? They experiment, learn, take risks – without unnecessary stress.
Failure? It’s just a respawn and a new chance for a better score.
So today, whether you are installing ERP or cleaning the office – remember, this is just another mission on your path to becoming a master player.
Lessons and takeaways for today:
1. Mistakes happen! Keep your head up and keep going. Right now! Today!
Mistakes happen – to everyone and all the time. Why?
Because we are not infallible, perfect beings but HUMANS, who, along with free will, received fallible brains.
And about the brain – it is lazy by nature. It seeks comfort and avoids effort.
If we wait for the perfect moment (which, let’s be real, will never come – I know this because I waited about 10 years, if not longer), we will never move forward.
Today is not about a temporary spark of motivation, but about consistent action, which, in our case, means building habits and self-discipline.
2. Without discipline, you won’t win the game!
Yesterday’s completed goals:
My goals:
Don’t wait until you feel motivated. Act despite it – that’s the skill that separates average people from those who achieve great things.
Reflect. I will certainly reflect.
Keep your fingers crossed for my short-term goal.
I’m at 100.8 kg – 3.8 kg to go… I got this!
See you tomorrow! 😊
Stillness Is No Longer a Choice – A Kafka-Inspired Reflection
What happens if you never move forward? A haunting reflection on risk, paralysis and the quiet price of staying still.
