"Man is perfect through his imperfections." — Khalil Gibran
Cheer up. Greet the world with a smile and joy in your heart.
Today will be a good day. I will treat all imperfections today as signs. Signposts pointing the way toward something better. Without imperfections, we wouldn’t be human—we’d be robots. And I am not a robot, right? (https://dailyinspire.ch/Blog/du-bist-kein-roboter-2 and https://dailyinspire.ch/Blog/du-bist-kein-Roboter-1 – motivational blogs in which I emphasize our non-robotic nature and the human mechanisms guiding life.)
Imperfections—sometimes called “defects” (which I consider quite unnatural and harmful in many respects—don’t use the word “defect,” it sounds like a sentence, robs one of dignity, and closes the path forward. Imperfection is something entirely different).
It is not a flaw, but a direction. A map that shows where you can improve. And that is precisely the beauty of being human—that we are not ready, not finished, not perfect. We can change. We can grow. Preferably every day, motivated by DailyInspire and willing to improve our lives by 1%. This daily blog exists exactly for that purpose. Me and you. WE—can become better each day. Imperfection is not a reason for shame. It is a compass. You just have to use it and look at it, instead of setting it aside, ignoring it, or covering it up. Because it’s easier not to speak, not to look at what is imperfect. Do exactly the opposite—look at it very carefully. Without recognizing it, you won’t be able to change anything.
For many years I avoided the mirror. I avoided looking at my body. I knew it was more than imperfect. I didn’t like myself. I didn’t like the reflection of my figure. I was afraid of what I would see, because I knew it was bad.
One day I stood naked in front of the mirror. I saw what I had avoided for many years—an overweight man with a sagging (I truly hadn’t realized it, because I avoided mirrors like fire, but yes: SAGGING) belly. It was an unpleasant sight, because I really hadn’t thought it was that bad. But it was.
I decided to change it. Right then. That moment. It became one of the main stimuli, one of the driving motivators that pushed me into daily work. Later, I started adding other goals and tasks and general conditions for improving my life. But that one look in the mirror—that one small step—decided that I saw the point in introducing my HMF method into real life. Finally, into my own skin and my own life. I said:
Since then, about three months have passed (it happened at the end of December), and I’ve been applying the HMF method seriously and fully committed to change for two months. (I gave myself some time for reorganization and mental adjustment, gradually easing into the ‘full throttle’ mode).
Thanks to daily work, I’ve lost 23 kilograms. I’ve improved my health a hundredfold, my well-being a thousandfold, and myself by 1% each day.
It all happened because I looked in the mirror and saw what I had avoided for many years. Imperfections.

At DailyInspire, we believe that real change doesn't require perfection—it requires movement. That's why I follow the HMF Method, built on three pillars: Health, Motivation, and Fundamentals. It's a personal approach to growth, where each day matters.
Combined with the 1% rule, this method becomes a daily tool for real, measurable progress. The idea is simple: improve just 1% every day. One step, one action, one better choice. Over time, that daily 1% leads to extraordinary transformation.
This is not a theory—it's practice. This blog is a living proof. It's a place where motivation in Switzerland becomes a habit, and where readers find the power to rise through their imperfections, not despite them.
Join me on this daily blog Swiss journey. Find your direction in imperfection. Start small, think clear—and move. This is more than a motivation blog, this is a compass for everyday life.
