“A bad ballerina blames the hem of her skirt.”
Hey. Wista. For several days in a row, I’ve had serious trouble sleeping. The nights were hard.
No, not because I was neglecting myself or skipping my usual routines.
On the contrary – I did everything as always.
I’m simply ill. I don’t really know what’s going on.
Old health problems, those from my kitchen work days, have come back, and since I’m in daily contact with people – I’ve caught some kind of bug.
Everything hurts. Seriously – everything. From my leg to my head.
On top of that, I’m sleep-deprived...
And sure, one could go on like this.
One could complain. One could blame reality, fate, other people, the weather, random chance.
But not me. Oh no.
I don’t make it a habit to blame anyone or anything.
And I don’t want to blame myself either.
Because even though it hurts and even though it’s not easy – I hold on.
I stick to my routine.
My weight is stable, even a few grams down.
The will to live – present.
Thoughts about God and His greatness – present.
Thoughts about myself and my unreal strength – present.
So everything’s in place. Head up.
Diseases can be defeated.
With the support of the subconscious, this can sometimes happen surprisingly fast – and with grace.
Like a ballerina who keeps dancing with elegance and fluidity, even with a broken shoe – as if nothing had happened.
And that’s exactly how I want to move through this day.
Without regret. With dignity. With humility.
And with that strange, hard-to-explain strength that keeps me alive, hopeful, and active.
Motto of the day:
Be like a dancing ballet master floating above the heads of wrestlers.

Clarity begins in stillness.
Today I give my full attention to the unnoticed –
because this is where my inner balance begins.
It’s not the noise that moves us forward,
but what we barely hear:
A deep breath. An honest thought. A quiet moment with myself.
With the GMF method from DailyInspire, you learn to grow in silence –
and to live right where you truly feel yourself.
