"Falling down is not a failure; failure is staying where you fell." – Socrates.
Good morning, guten Morgen, bonjour!
Can failures carry any value? WTF – an average Bronx resident might ask… I just fell face-first into mud that doesn’t exactly smell like mud – and it might not be chocolate either… So what’s there to be happy about?
Failure is a state, a word that sounds like a sentence to many. We fear it, avoid it, do everything to never experience a downfall. But that’s a mistake. Failure is necessary. Unfortunately, it is also unavoidable. (After all, we are not robots: https://dailyinspire.ch/Blog/du-bist-kein-roboter-2 EN: https://dailyinspire.ch/en/blogs/you-are-not-a-robot-2). And most importantly – it is valuable. Without it, there is no growth, no learning, no true success.
Many people think that life is a path leading only upward. However, reality looks different. Life is a sinusoid. After periods of peaks, valleys always come. After success comes failure. This is not a theory; it is a law of nature.
Learn to live with it. You will avoid many diseases!
Today, I will show you why accepting failure is worthwhile, how to use it to build strength, and how the HMF method from DailyInspire helps to navigate life’s downturns.
The Sinusoid of Life – Why Does It Work This Way?
If we look at life from a broader perspective, we will see that it operates on the principle of a sinusoid. Highs and lows are not a system error – they are its foundation. Even in economics, we have business cycles – after periods of growth, there is a recession, followed by growth again. Examples?
Success and failure are not separate from each other. They are two sides of the same coin.
Why Is It Worth Experiencing Failure?
Do not confuse failure with a mistake. Making a mistake is one thing, but true failure is the moment when you feel like you’ve lost everything. Financially, emotionally, spiritually. And this is necessary. Because it is the moment when you start rebuilding yourself from scratch.
Failures teach:
How to Overcome Failure? – HMF
Many people give up after falling. But it doesn’t have to be this way. That’s why I created the HMF method (Health, Motivation, Fundamentals), which helps you get out of a slump.
An Example
Let’s say you run your own business and just lost it. Investments failed, debts are growing, motivation is plummeting, and stress is draining your energy. You have two choices: give up and sink into despair or apply the HMF method.
With each day, you implement changes, emerge from stagnation, and rebuild yourself. Not immediately, but steadily. After a month, you are in a different place. After a year – you no longer recognize yourself and are rebuilding from scratch, this time with full experience and confidence that it will be much better.
No experience teaches as much as a right hook to the nose! Next time, you’ll dodge it. At least that’s what anyone who isn’t a masochist would do – and I’m not accusing anyone… yet. Are you? 😉
God and Science – Does Faith Help in Crises?
Studies show that believers cope better with difficult situations. According to the "Journal of Religion and Health," religious individuals have lower levels of depression and recover faster from psychological breakdowns. This is because they have a point of reference – God, who gives meaning even in suffering.
Additionally, research conducted at Harvard University has shown that people who practice faith have a 30% lower stress index and a higher quality of life.
Scientific studies conducted at various universities worldwide confirm that religiosity and spirituality significantly impact mental health and the ability to cope with crises.

Scientific studies conducted at various universities worldwide confirm that religiosity and spirituality significantly impact mental health and the ability to cope with crises. Below are some key findings from international research on this topic:
Religiosity and Mental Health Research indicates that religious individuals enjoy better mental health than non-religious people. A study published in the "Journal of Religion and Health" found that regular religious practices, such as prayer or attending worship services, are associated with lower levels of depression and anxiety as well as a greater sense of purpose in life. Religiosity and Physical Health Religiosity also affects physical health. Studies conducted at Jagiellonian University found that people with a high level of religious commitment exhibit better overall health compared to less religious individuals. However, it was also noted that these individuals displayed higher levels of stress, suggesting a complex relationship between religiosity and health. Source: Focus
Religiosity and Crisis Management During the COVID-19 pandemic, religious commitment proved helpful in coping with uncertainty and stress. International studies have shown that people who regularly participate in religious practices handled isolation better and were more likely to help others. Source: Opoka
Religiosity and Health-Conscious Behavior Religiosity can influence health-conscious behaviors. Studies indicate that religious individuals are more likely to engage in physical activities, avoid harmful substances, and maintain a healthier lifestyle, which translates into better overall health.
In conclusion, international university studies confirm that religiosity and spirituality play a crucial role in shaping both mental and physical health, as well as in ways of coping with life’s challenges.
But why rely on studies? Why do we need all these papers? It is enough to turn toward God or meditate to experience for yourself that it works. There is no room for debate here – only pure truth.
You are the president of the most important corporation in the world – yourself. If your company falls into crisis, what do you do? Panic? No. You look for solutions. You develop a new plan. You work hard. You fight.
This is not supposed to be a small business on the outskirts that gives up at the first crisis. It must be an empire that holds its course even in a storm. The plan must work even when it is tough. Especially then!
Because you know what? Let me repeat it so it sinks in: Life is a sinusoid. And every low point is just a temporary stage before the next peak.
So get up. And move forward. Because those who have never fallen will never know the true taste of victory. That’s how it works. So let’s fall from time to time, but then rise stronger, rise better. A new board, a new CEO. A few more gray hairs – so be it.
It is the beginning of something new. As Winston Churchill said: "Success is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm."
Each of us experiences our own sinusoids. The key is to learn how to use the lows instead of fearing them. Because they are what create real strength.
PS: Have you noticed that every time life is going too well, too pleasant, there always comes a smack so hard you can barely handle it? The better things get, the bigger the smack! Have you noticed? Think about it. And get used to it. That’s how the world works.
See you tomorrow, my little rainbow pony!
