Vacation.
Short and sweet.
The house is under construction. Fortunately, it has a solid foundation. The rest is just a superstructure.
Just like our old house in Hungary – our life, and the everyday reality we create, must have a foundation. A solid foundation built into firm ground.
You cannot build on sand… Oh no, you cannot…
That’s why, despite being in a vacation state of mind, I still try to write a few words on the blog.
I continue to list my tasks and try to fulfill them.
(One of yesterday’s tasks wasn’t fulfilled – it was diet-related. I had written: no sugar today. Oh, how wrong I was.
I ate a cookie. And not just one. My holiday-self showed up, and I just couldn’t resist.)
That’s how it goes. I’m human. I gave myself a little room.
I feel a bit ashamed, but at the same time, I’m sure that my foundations – and cooperation with myself through the HMF method – will help me get back into rhythm and continue my daily growth.
But for now: Let this moment last. We’re in Hungary until April 15, 2025.Until then, I want to loosen up a little and rest. Mentally. Physically.
After that – I’ll tighten the belt again. I’ll pull myself together and take the reins back into my hands.
From a psychological point of view, vacation lets the mind breathe.
It resets thinking patterns, helps us gain distance, and step out of action mode.
That’s why after a break, we often see old things in a new light and make changes more easily.
But... for change to last, there must be a foundation.
A daily one. Quiet. Strong.
As for mine:
It’s made of faith, family, and finances. And today, I’ll focus on family.
On spending time together – truly. In peace. In love. With a smile and joy in the heart. With gratitude for everyday life.
Today I will be 1% better – in those small but deeply important things. The basic, fundamental things in our daily lives.
