„Simplicity and common sense should characterize planning and strategic direction.“ - Ingvar Kamprad

There is strength in simplicity. And there’s no discussion about it.

Kamprad, the one from IKEA (I think an icon for many entrepreneurs), once said:
“Simplicity and common sense should characterize planning and strategic direction.”
He was right. And I’ll add my own:

“There is strength in simplicity.” – Kacper.
(I think a future icon for many entrepreneurs – and not only 😉)

This is what I want to base not just today on, but my whole approach to life and my transformation for the better, in accordance with the 1% better rule and the HMF method.

These aren’t empty phrases for the wall that we can buy in any store, like – ironically – IKEA…
This is a life strategy. Simplicity is beautiful.

Imagine a daisy and a bouquet of flowers. A daisy on its own would get lost in a bouquet of roses mixed with other weeds, and on top of that, a ton of embellishments – and best if a veil is added over all of it.
And the daisy?
How beautiful in its simplicity.
It needs nothing. It lacks nothing. And whether tucked into a boutonniere on a suit or, in the women’s version, woven into hair or placed behind the ear – it adds elegance. It offers beauty hidden in simplicity.
Unless, of course, we’re going to Auntie's name day. Then yes, a bouquet and champagne must be ready.

But I’m not going to that kind of party.

I'm heading to a place where there’s no need to be a puffed-up emu.
I'm heading to a place where a sparrow with a daisy in its beak is a hidden predator.
It doesn’t have to show it to the world – but it knows. I know.
That’s exactly how I – as usual – escaped into a digression and from a flower bouquet created a sparrow with the soul of an eagle.

I am that little sparrow, not a puffed-up emu with a bunch of cellophane-wrapped flowers in its...

This is me.
This is my goal and my path.
A path with my method and the rule of 1% better every day.

Life doesn’t need to be complicated to be deep.
All it takes is that I do something better every day. One small step.
My rule: 1% daily. That’s it. And that’s everything.
Five simple tasks a day, one of which “improves” me by one percent.
It can’t get any simpler – unless you don’t intend to do anything at all.
But that’s not simplicity. That’s stupidity.
Huge difference.
I’m talking about growth here, not regression – I won’t even take on the topic of doing nothing.
Lazy folks – head over to TikTok – there are still plenty of videos with emus carrying bouquets in their...

In the morning?
A glass of water with apple cider vinegar and olive oil, plus exercise.
My daily routine.
That’s how I start the day – and I already know I’ve done something good.
Maybe it sounds trivial. But it’s in those trivial rituals that power lies.
I wrote about that here: Water + Oil...

Every day – the bike.
No matter the weather. Rain? Slush? Wind? Doesn’t matter. I go. To church. To the source. And I don’t ask myself: “Do I feel like it?” Because I stopped doing things only when I feel like it long ago.
I do them because I know why.

That’s the foundation.
And my HMF method – Health, Motivation, Fundamentals – is built on more than just willingness.
Physical and mental health is the base.
Motivation is the daily reminder that it’s worth it.
And foundation? That’s faith. That’s family. That’s financial security.
Without these, we are like a house made of cardboard, where that emu lives – the one who always has a bouquet with him.

And so, I build this house day by day.
Brick by brick. Page by page. Idea by idea. The online store is being built. I’m being built. I’m not perfect. And I know I never will be. But I also know I’m not falling apart. And that’s already a lot.

Every day I try to be a bit better.

Sometimes it's just that 1% – one email sent, one thing improved, one moment of silence more than yesterday.
And that’s enough. I don’t have to change the world in one day.
But I have to do my part. Systematically. With determination and simplicity in all its complexity.
There are many topics – but they’re simple. The whole may seem complicated – but it’s not.

If you think it’s too little – read my blog post about small steps:
Small Habits. Big Success.

You’ll see that this is how change really works.
Not through sudden bursts. Not through euphoria.
But through simplicity and daily compounded percentages.

It’s beautiful!
Simplifying life is something extraordinary and... simple.
You just have to want it.

True and good change doesn’t need fanfare.
It needs silence.Repetition. Patience. Small steps. Habits.

The 1% rule in my blog posts: Small Steps, Big Wins

Because life isn’t a marathon. And it isn’t a sprint.
It’s a daily walk. At your own pace. But in the right direction.

And remember:
You don’t need a new plan.
You don’t need another motivational video.
You need simplicity.

You need yourself.

And if you want – start today.
With one glass of water.
With five minutes of silence.
With one decision that can change everything.

There is strength in simplicity.
And in you too.

– Kacper

Yesterday’s blog post was about how to get from point A, where we are now, to point B – our dream destination – the simplest way, with daily motivation and determination.
