Yesterday, I did not write the blog. For the second time in over two months. What do I feel? Nothing that would stop me. Not shame. Not failure. Peace. And perhaps even gratitude. Because I finally allowed myself to have a true day. A day of rest, of silence, of reflection. A day that, in the classic sense, may seem unproductive—but was in fact deeply meaningful.
There was no calendar. No checklist. No five tasks to improve by one percent. There was a car. There was silence. And there were more than four hours of driving. Without music. Without a podcast. Without any noise. Alone. With myself. Meditation in motion. And by that, I do not mean watching lights on YouTube. I mean actual presence.
I was also in a church. Yes, it was closed. But I was there. And I know it is not the building that matters most, but the act itself. I stood in silence. No plan. No script. Simply as I am. I drank some wine. I ate some bread. I am on holiday. And a well-deserved one. I do not need to prove anything. Not to myself. Not to anyone else.
Did I give up on my goals? Absolutely not. Am I still in the game? With all my strength. Today I return. In second gear. Half the tasks. But I return. Because the worst thing one can do after a pause is to turn it into resignation. Yesterday was not the end. It was a breath. And now I move forward again.
Psychology tells us that we live in cycles. Our bodies, our emotions, our minds—all function in rhythm. Like a muscle. Tension and release. Effort and rest. Without release, there is damage. Without tension, there is atrophy. Growth happens in balance. Yesterday I rested.
Was the diet ideal? No. But I am not returning to old habits. Because diet is not a 90-day challenge. It is a way of living. A personal rulebook. A code I believe in. I follow it even when I allow space. Especially then.
Will the goals be delayed? Yes. But they will not disappear. Sometimes you must stand still to clearly see where you are headed. Goals are not meant to punish. They are meant to guide. And guidance comes from light. But even light needs a source. Yesterday, I found mine again.
I do not give up. On the contrary. I feel stronger. I found more reasons to continue. More meaning. More of myself. I do not ask if it is worth it. I know it is. Because every moment spent close to myself—rather than lost in routine—is a valuable investment. Every conscious pause is a step forward.
So yes, I did not write. But I did a lot. Because from that silence, more was born than from many days filled with noise.
With respect and silence in my heart,

Dazu kommt unsere wichtigste Regel: Werde jeden Tag 1 % besser.
So entsteht nachhaltige Veränderung:
Unsere täglichen Impulse helfen dir, deinen Weg zu finden.
Nicht perfekt. Sondern echt.
Stillness Is No Longer a Choice – A Kafka-Inspired Reflection
What happens if you never move forward? A haunting reflection on risk, paralysis and the quiet price of staying still.
