“You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.” — Zig Ziglar

Good morning on this cold and unfriendly autumn morning – that’s what someone would say who already feels like doing nothing the moment they wake up. That alone sounds like a quiet sentence passed on oneself – and on everyone around.

I’ll say it differently: Good morning on this beautiful autumn morning! Too much at once caused another little blog delay, but life happens. I won’t apologize – I already feel guilty enough for not writing daily. I try. And that’s what matters. When you care about what’s truly important to you, even small guilt can go grazing on the fields. “Why?” you might ask. Because willpower matters. Real effort – not half-hearted talk or endless postponing. Effort should lead to action, whenever possible.

Example? Sure: You know that feeling when your alarm goes off, and you stare at the ceiling for a minute, searching for a reason to get up? Then you tell yourself, “I don’t feel like it”? That’s the moment where either magic or failure begins. Because all it takes is to get up. Just that. Get up and take the first step – for yourself. That tiny decision to try, even when you’re tired, is what separates dreamers from doers. It separates the small from the great – those who call the morning “a drag” from those who see it as a perfect moment to act, with a cup of mint-hibiscus tea and their hands on the keyboard.

So if today you feel like doing nothing – perfect.
That means you have a choice. And choice is power.
Because you can move anyway.
Effort, even small, will always beat perfect inaction.

Have a wonderful autumn day of not doing nothing.

Motto for today:
To want is the beginning. To act is the victory.
