Good morning from Japan – the country that has treated chlorella not as a “supplement” but as a pillar of health for decades. And not without reason.

Today is Health Day in my HMF method. A perfect time to look within. Literally.

No catchy slogans here. Just a deep dive into why this small green algae – Chlorella – might become your best ally in this game called life. A game where the GMF method (Gesundheit, Motivation, Fundament) helps us improve by 1% each and every day.

So let's start slowly. Focus. And then ask yourself – will you take one small step today towards a stronger body?


What exactly is chlorella?

 

It's an algae. Tiny, green, and packed with chlorophyll. It thrives in freshwater but don’t be fooled by its humble origins – this algae is a nutritional revolution compressed into a single organism.

It contains everything your cells need to function:

  • complete protein,
  • complex carbohydrates,
  • essential amino acids,
  • nucleic acids,
  • vitamins and minerals,
  • and above all: pure natural power.

This is not just another trendy powder. It’s a clinically relevant, therapeutic and preventive food, widely respected in Japan, South Korea, and increasingly in Europe and Switzerland.

On our planet, there are roughly 23,000 types of algae in saltwater and freshwater. Most of them have existed for millennia. Fossil records from the Precambrian era show that chlorella has been around for over 2.5 billion years.

Unlike in Japan or China, chlorella was practically unknown in Europe. Only in the mid-20th century did scientific research start exploring its value. Since then, interest has grown rapidly – and rightly so. You could call it a plant-based celebrity, gaining new fans every single day.

Why should you use chlorella as a superfood?

 

Let’s ask the question:
Is there a supplement, a product, a plant – that cleanses, strengthens, supports digestion, replenishes deficiencies, is highly bioavailable and 100% natural?

Answer: Yes. Chlorella.

1. Real detox – seriously

Chlorella helps remove heavy metals, environmental toxins, alcohol, and pharmaceutical residues from the body. Its strongest action is on the liver – that silent filter working day in, day out. And as you may know, the liver is the only organ capable of regenerating itself – but only if we help it.

Of course, chlorella alone won’t do the job. But paired with a clean diet (less processed food, less sugar, fewer medications and chemicals), it can do wonders.

This is a supplement with a mission: clean your blood, reduce oxidative stress, and help your body recover from the modern world.

2. Hangover shield – smartly

This isn’t about drinking more and hoping for a miracle. If you do choose to drink, chlorella 1–2 hours before alcohol works like a smart shield: replenishing minerals, supporting the liver, and significantly reducing next-day symptoms. Naturally.

I don’t support excess. I support wise preparation – like before any battle.

Luckily, these battles are in my past. And I suggest you fight them as rarely as possible. Life is demanding enough. Why add a hangover to the list?

(Spoken by a former knight whose armor has begun to rust – gladly. I’m a pacifist now. I’ve left that battlefield behind. And I’m not coming back. 😉)

3. Cancer prevention support

Studies from the Czech Republic show that regular supplementation with chlorella may slow the development of certain cancers, particularly breast cancer.

It supports the immune system, neutralizes inflammation, and may influence the expression of genes responsible for cell division.

This isn’t a promise. It’s an invitation to smart prevention.

During flu season and colder months, chlorella acts as a backup system for your immune response.

It increases white blood cell counts, activates natural killer (NK) cells, and helps the body strengthen its self-repair capacity.

Chlorella is one of the most powerful prebiotics. It feeds beneficial gut bacteria, supports regular bowel movements, enhances nutrient absorption, and relieves issues like bloating, constipation, and food poisoning.

And yes – it aids in reducing fat, boosting metabolism, and stabilizing blood sugar levels.


How to take it?

Form matters.

  • Powdered – best absorbed, 1 teaspoon daily.
    That’s how I take my chlorella – in my “life cocktail.” I mix it into warm water with apple cider vinegar and a few other plant-based allies. The taste? Let’s say… earthy. But oddly enough, I grew to like it. Proof that stepping outside your comfort zone can sometimes bring… comfort 😊
  • Capsules or tablets – travel-friendly, 3–5 grams daily.
    That’s how I use spirulina – another algae. I take two clean, compressed tablets when I skip my full morning cocktail. No additives. No fuss. Great for beginners – no smell, no strong taste.
  • Liquid – around 30 ml per day.

Packaging? Glass or paper, non-transparent.
Duration? 3 to 6 months. Minimum.

That’s it.

Don’t expect a revolution in three days. Expect evolution in ninety.
Just like in my GMF method – Gesundheit, Motivation, Fundament.

Improving 1% daily = 365% in one year. Simple. But not easy.
Results don’t build themselves.
