“There is always time for a good deed.”

Do a good deed! Maybe it will become your routine.

Suor sdei. Good morning.
Today feels tired. I begin slowly. Quietly. In the spirit of simplicity. With respect for what lies ahead. With gratitude for what has already been. With one strong thought: today, I want to be free.

Free from judgment, from rush, from pressure. Free from my own fears, from the gaze of others. Free – meaning present. With mindfulness. With breath. With truth.

This won’t be an ordinary day... I have a conversation with my boss about my future in the company I currently work for. And I know – I already know – there’s no room for pretending. I’m not going there to seek approval. I was there (exactly a week ago, though it feels like yesterday) with a proposal. My proposal. Concrete. Strong. Considered. Thought through. Prepared from A to Z. A proposal to change my position to one where I can fully use my skills and knowledge in the areas where I truly feel capable. That’s why there’s no fear in me. I’ve done everything I could. Now it’s time for action. Head up. Professionalism and simplicity. Let’s go!

Next stop on the route of my trolleybus from point A to point B on this 28th of March 2025: I’m going to see a new apartment. A place closer to the new business I’m building and to Basia’s job. A flat with a fireplace in the countryside. A place where Ghidra can run wild in the uncut grass. Yes. Of course, I’m prepared. And of course, I’ll approach it with that simple-in-its-complexity professionalism. It’s mine. It’s ours!

And one more thing. Maybe the most important – because it’s actually the theme of today’s short entry. Daily motivation from DailyInspire! Isn’t it?

A good deed. Just one. For someone – and at the same time, for myself. But not the kind you put on a “to-do” list. One that comes from impulse. From the heart. Something simple. A gesture. A smile. Help. Presence.

Because you see – with each such deed, something begins to happen that cannot be planned: goodness starts to unfold. In someone else. And in me. Like warmth that appears from nowhere.

Sometimes, the world only needs one thing: that we stop thinking about ourselves for a moment and really see another person. And even if it happens only once a day... it’s enough.

Yesterday I wanted so badly to do a good deed. I wanted to plan it. That was my little goal... And guess what? Of course I forgot – overwhelmed by work and daily routines. In the evening, on my way home (a 30-minute ride), I reflected on the passing day. Guess what happened. I had already done many good deeds! My positive attitude toward people naturally gave me the will to help!
An example? Gladly. And no, don’t roll your eyes yet!

My colleague from the salads and desserts department – Mr. Siergiej. Siergiej just got his Swiss driver’s license and needs a car. So he’s browsing the classified ads. But his German isn’t that great.

And this is where I step in. Dressed in red and white (the colors of Poland, and also of the peace) on a white horse. I know cars. I know negotiations. I take over. I write to the sellers. I arrange test drives. On Monday we’re going together to see a car! Yes. It’s already scheduled. I didn’t hesitate for a second. I didn’t ask for any payment for my time. I just helped. Kindly. Honestly. Motivating and simply... human.

Be human.

The last part. A reminder – mostly for myself:
I’m ready! Not 50%. One hundred. With documents that are refined. With words that mean something. With a decision that has already been made. And I know that what I’ve set out to do – will happen. It’s mine. I know it. I feel it. With all of me. And no one can take it away. I don’t need to convince anyone. It’s enough that I’m present. Attentive. Professional and real.

This isn’t arrogance or pride. It’s self-worth. It’s the awareness that finally, you’re not coming to get something – you’re coming with something. And what you want – you’ll get. It’s just the inevitable next step.

I don’t know what will happen today.
But I know that I’ll do something good. That’s my plan.

What will it be? I don’t know.
I’ll look around.
Who can I help today?
The answer will come on its own.
Faster than I probably expect.

“There is always time for a good deed.”
