Seconds DailyInspire 2025
The first day with DailyInspire and the HMF method is behind me. I will start directly with the most important thing – the review. What was accomplished? Was any task from yesterday skipped? Was anything difficult?
///// My list should be here at 6:00 AM ///// This was the inspiration for this blog. Later, it started working after 7:00 AM.
...
A small note: The list is in English because I want to practice this language, and because studies show that writing such tasks or lists in a language other than your native tongue significantly increases the likelihood of completing them. Why?
Numero Uno: You focus more while physically writing.
Numero Duo: Concentration while reading – you don’t always remember exactly what you meant when you set yourself a task – a moment of reflection reinforces it again in your mind.
Numero Tre: That’s what studies show – so why not take advantage of it?
...
I was just about to insert the correct div code in HTML, which I had checked hundreds of times before launching the blog... and what? Of course, it didn’t work. I spent another hour fixing it. The spite of inanimate objects or one of the classic obstacles I will often encounter during this restructuring of myself.
What emerged in my mind because of this error and the problem at 5:00 AM? Learning. Yes, exactly. Learning and humility. Life and the game I am now beginning with HMF will test me many times. How I deal with challenges and possible failures (hopefully as few as possible) depends on how I am internally prepared for them. Here, humility and calmness are essential. I know it’s not easy, but the more humility and calm we have in life, especially in seemingly trivial situations that can be solved within an hour or two, the more we learn from them and experience them internally in a much better way. It will simply make our lives better!
A few deep breaths, closed eyes, a quick analysis, and calming the thoughts... and LET’S GO! It won’t do itself. After a fall comes a rise, after a storm the sun, and after a tough day, the feeling of fulfillment. Even if we fail because a case is too difficult for our current skills or physical capabilities – calmness and humility are important.
Can’t do it alone? Find a solution with a professional. The professional didn’t help? Then they weren’t one.
An example? Here you go: The garage door is half open, and you have a banquet for 50 people to prepare in 30 minutes? Well, it turns out you are the chef, managing the entire kitchen, and only you know exactly how to prepare the duck breast perfectly to the guests' expectations. What do you do? Punch the door, smash the remote, pull out your chest hair, and scratch the plaster off the wall looking for another exit? NO! With calmness and humility, you look at the door, smile contemptuously, and say to yourself: "Thanks for this moment of peace this morning – I needed a little break. And by the way, who do you think you’re messing with, my little one? I’ll fix you right now!"
Humility in accepting situations we cannot control at the moment. It has already happened. What do I do? I calmly look for a solution and plan my next step. Can I fix it myself? Who will serve the duck breast in red wine sauce with pea purée? Do I know someone who can come and fix it in 15 minutes? Maybe it’s a power outage? I check one by one – and after some time, the situation is resolved. My colleague served the duck breast, giving his best (as he usually has less demanding tasks) and proved what he was capable of. The duck turned out exceptionally – almost like mine 😊. The garage door was fixed in less than 30 minutes – a loose connection in the motor, solved with a screwdriver. And that’s it! Problem solved.
My case today? The blog will appear a little later, which is unlikely to endanger world peace. The code is fixed, and I’m happy because I now have two backups. A lesson for the future: always save your work in at least two independent locations. I turned something negative into a positive and improved my day.
1% better – completed before sunrise.
